Open your self to the Nature within and Nature all around us
Only by becoming intimate with our body, heart and mind can we
free our selves from identification with our limited “self”, allowing
us to access the profound Joy, Love and Peace that is our true
Nature
The Retreat will comprise twice daily classes, and will include
meditation, pranayama and dynamic (Yang practice) in a Vinyasa-
based class, followed by insight Yoga (Yin practice) in the
afternoon. Over five days, you can expect more than 22 hours
of teacher-led practice as well as a water temple purification
ceremony at a sacred spring. In addition Katiza will use a variety of
tools and practices from different Yoga traditions so you will come
to understand the true essence of the discipline: only by becoming
intimate with the body, heart and mind can we free ourselves
from identification with the limited self allowing us to access the
profound true love, joy and peace which Yogis like Patanjali and
the Buddha assert as our true nature.
Katiza is a committed Yogini and Yoga teacher with an in-
depth background in Vipassana and meditation,
Vinyasa, Iyengar and Yin Yoga. She has studied with many
teachers and masters in Europe, America and India since 1983.
The great influences in her life have been the Tibetan
namkhai Norbu Rimpoche, Yoga teacher Clive Sheridan, Sri
Ramana Maharshi, her guru H. W. I. Poonja (Papaji), B. K. S
Iyengar, Guruji Pattabi Jois and Vipassana teacher S. N.
